Meet Peter Matai Johnston
Pete is part of one of the most influential Ngati Hei families in Aotearoa. He is a visual artist who specialises in conversational provocation designed to enhance the human experience through promoting the creation of unorthodox thought patterns derived from extraordinary semantic interpretations. This is undertaken in the hope of lifting his own level of consciousness and awareness so as to gain a deeper understanding of people, and the Collective Narrative we occupy.
