Meet Rae Katene
Rae grew up in the Coromandel and has seen many changes in the area. She has travelled around the world and is passionate about history. She even got to work at the local museum. Rae is much loved by our community and even participated in the video clip of Leo’s band ‘Let’s Go Descarrego – Not My Circus, Not My Monkeys’.
Rae and her love for our community made her decide to be a member of the Community Patrol. She retired from this position a few years ago. Last month, someone broke into her house, which was not a pleasing experience. She comes to the ALTBAYS Show to tell us more about this incident and how we can improve the security in our area.
