Meet Shaz Iseli
Shaz trained as a nurse in Auckland in 1987, and for the last 15 years, she has focused her career on youth health. She is a postgraduate in Health Sciences and a specialist in contraception and sexual health.
Shaz worked at Anamata CAFE for youth health in Taupo/Turangi for 11 years. Her team had a mobile clinic in a van called Pricilla. She was the Clinical team leader and later also managed the team.
Shaz has been working as a school nurse for the last two years. She comes to the ALTBAYS Show to tell us more about how teenagers and adults navigate gender identity, the impact of the internet on youth sexual behaviour and much more!
