Susan is a User Experience copywriting expert who’s spent the last 10 years writing razor-sharp web copy for everyone from bookkeepers to Booking.com. She helps other copywriters skill up on user experience inside her group coaching program UX to Profit. Her weekly newsletter is packed with copy, website, and UX tips told in an un-boring way.
Copywriting was one of the first things I outsourced when developing my website and I continue to outsource copywriting for email funnels, website updates, and ongoing sales copy.
In this episode, Susan breaks down what UX copywriting is and why good copywriting is key when it comes to sales. We discuss some of the mistakes she sees being made across the board, DIY copywriting and the biggest lessons she’s learned from running her own business.
We also talk about Susan’s respect for the numbers side of her business, despite being a creative at heart.
