He also shares a few practical gardening tips. - What possible connection could wrestling have with the Hurst Horticultural Show? - What weird and wonderful classes of exhibits were included in the early days? - Why did one Scarecrow entry attract the attention of the police a few years ago? - How to feed tomatoes, keep sweet peas flowering or deal with potato blight? You'll have to listen to find out! These days, the show classes are divided into four categories: Scarecrows, Horticulture, Home Industries and classes for Children. So there really is something for everyone at the Hurst Horticultural Show, held at Hurst Village Halls. The orchard in between hosts the cream teas, bar, hot food, ice creams, EMC jazz band, local craft stalls, and the famous Hurst alpacas.
