When Jesus Christ returns at the Battle of Armageddon and in the context of future events, the Bible refers to His fierce anger. The symbol of the wine cup of God's fury in Revelation 14, alludes to Jeremiah 25. The prophet is instructed to take this wine cup of God's fury and make all nations drink out of it. Jerusalem is the first to drink, the nations around it, and all nations upon the face of the earth, as God has a controversy with all of the inhabitants of the earth. The last to drink is the King of Sheshach or King of Babylon.
