We're joined by a former Coxswain of HMCS QUADRA- CPO1 Sonya Purewal 2002.
Sonya was a Cadet at RCSCC Beacon Hill, she has recently finished as Commanding Officer with RCSCC Columbia and plans to become CO at RCSCC Grilse in the Fall of 2022.
Sonya is of South Asian decent and speaks fluent Punjabi. She pegs the 1998 Ceremony of the Flags and playing clarinet at Symphony Splash as a favourite Quadra memory.
She currently works in law enforcement and has been employed with CBSA for the past 16 years.
