I was able to interview 2 candidates for the Lake Placid, NY School Board. Both candidates (attorney Ron Briggs, and Oral Surgeon Beth Brunner) were asked to discuss their backgrounds and why they are running for the school board. I specifically directed questions to the issues of improving the district's academic competitiveness, curtailing substance abuse, and addressing students' mental health, and removing politics and transgender indoctrination from the classroom. In addition, I addressed the issue of insuring parental influence and decision making in all decisions regarding the development of their children in school. I found Ron Briggs, Esq., and Dr. Beth Brunner highly qualified and as such I unequivocally endorsed both for the school board.
