Ep. 24 - New Moon Gemini | This episode begins with a little “retro-astro weather” as The Cosmic Dispatch was on a short break last week. Show host Cory Nakasue jumps right in with last week's astro-weather before sharing her Astro-Prompts and New Moon Playlist.
Last week's astro-weather included Mercury’s retrograde back into the sign of Taurus on May 23rd. This may have brought up something from the past that’s worth revisiting before moving forward again. We also had Mars move into home sign Aries. This has a very different flavor to it than Mars in Pisces. There is a directness, energy towards assertion and more precise - straight forward action that comes with Mars in Aries.
On May 28th, Venus also moved into her home sign of Taurus. Cory shares that Venus in Taurus is like coming home and settling in letting it all hang out. Venus is able to do whatever she wants to do in Taurus. The energy of this transit will last a couple more weeks and brings a focus on tangible enjoyments, relaxation and simple pleasures.
Cory later sets out to quash some of the misgivings about Mutable air sign Gemini and invites us celebrate the benefits of being neither here nor there.
On Monday May 30th we have a New Moon in the sign of Gemini, which is ruled by a retrograde Mercury. This can bring new starts around conversations, projects and even friendships - though their initiation may be a little tricky. This may be a time when something from the past is up for re-consideration or re-negotiation before fully moving on with the new piece.
Cory then shares a new moon playlist and Gemini season Astroprompts. Astroprompts are creative prompts meant to serve as a jumping off point for creation - aligned with the energy of the season.
