Ep 19 | Intro to Taurus Season: A Body Manifesto - The astrology for this week includes the Sun ingresses into the fixed earth sign of Taurus. During the first part of the show Cory talks about all things Taurus and offers meditations for the upcoming Taurus season, which starts on April 19th.
This week we also have Mercury conjunct Uranus in Taurus and the Sun in Taurus squaring Pluto in the late degrees of Capricorn. Cory lets listeners know the energy of this week may feel unstable and invites us to sit with themes relating to the body and how to care for it. Taurus is all about “the body” - including the mind - and those themes are likely to be illuminated at this time. As Cory says in this episode: “the body works best when it’s prioritized”. Since Taurus is also an earth sign and Earth Day is also this week, we are reminded it’s also a great time to think about the earth, how we live on it, how we care for it and what we do to nourish it.
During the second part of the show Cory speaks with Akenya, astrologer, musician, and vocalist. Akenya is a Libra Sun with a Taurus Moon and talks with Cory all about Venus, the planet of beauty, love and all the finer things in life. Together they discuss the unique features of the Taurus experience. They also touch on the upcoming eclipse season happening on the Taurus/Scorpio axis.
