The fight for survival in the Championship took another strange twist...as did the weather at the New York Stadium as we saw Rotherham's game against Cardiff was abandoned at the beginning of the second half due to a heavy downfall of rain, bringing the match a sudden halt and ultimately brought the fixture to a close. This raised plenty of frustrations from the Cardiff faithful as they were leading Rotherham 1-0 at the time and strongly felt that the groundsmen could have done more in order to allow the game to continue. With the Football League now closely assessing the situation, it is unknown what decision will be made.
Antonio Conte voiced his frustrations after Spurs threw away a 3-1 lead to end up drawing 3-3 away to Southampton, stating that some players are happy to stay in their comfort zone and settle for mediocrity, no matter who is the coach. He also believes if the culture at a club is not right then the club is never going to be successful.
