Modern technology has opened unprecedented opportunities while at the same time created once-unthinkable perils. Nowhere is this dynamic felt more than with the social media revolution. The effects of hyper-connectivity on the mental, emotional, and relational health of people is only recently being fully explored. But, one thing is for sure: the ubiquitous presence of digital media is not going away.
In spite of its indisputably negative impacts, digital media has also created amazing new possibilities for the Gospel. In particular, the use of digital platforms has granted deeper access to traditionally restricted or closed regions in the Muslim world. Today we are speaking with Andrew* who leads a team developing digital outreach into the Middle East and North Africa for a well-known missions organization. He gives us some amazing testimony of the ways God is leveraging the digital revolution for His Kingdom.
