The story of Ariel Castro, The Monster of Cleveland, hits home. Even before he abducted and tortured Michelle Knight, Amanda Berry and Gina DeJesus in the early 2000s, he treated the mother of his children - our beautiful late cousin Grimilda - horrifically throughout their entire relationship. This is the first in a multi-part series that was difficult but important for us to research and discuss. Our love and respect to the families affected.
