Welcome to The Weekly Top 3 - our look at the top 3 things on our mind here at Alaskans for Sustainable Budgets - for the week of May 9, 2022.
Because of the time we spent on them, this week we only cover the first two of our Top 3 issues: 1) Michael and I discuss at length our take on the status of the budget, current through the Senate's actions on Monday (2:00); and 2) in light of what has happened this session, what the prospects are now for a long term fiscal plan (21:29). We will pick up the third topic - the current status of Santos' Pikka project and whether there's a silent "but" sitting behind their recent positive statements - next week.
