This week our top 3 issues are these: 1) using a recent letter to the editor by former ISER head Gunnar Knapp as a take-off point, we look at the various Alaska disconnects — and there are several (2:05); 2) we discuss the potential impact of a broadening dispute between the state and the Juneau school district over local contribution levels on the broader issue of state K-12 spending levels (19:00); and 3) we examine at the potential impact of inflation on construction costs in future capital budget debates (34:36).
