In this episode I share the things we look for when qualifying an area before you invest.
I'm very passionate about this old seaside town. I start by giving you my version of the history of the town in order to provide context for why I believe it has a strong future - for example it has one of the deepest estuaries in the country which made it ideal for massive ships carrying steel to take the metal out to sea, a sign of one of its many great transport links.
One of the things which separates the professional property person from the hobbyist is the approach to investing. Rather than just buying a property because its where you live, its important to have a process so you can assess somewhere you don't know and invest with confidence. Its all about de-risking your purchase and protecting your investment.
