The Word who was in the beginning is speaking to us today. Jesus says his sheep recognize his voice. To this moment, Jesus speaks to us through scripture. Remember the old Red Letter editions of the Bible? Jesus’ words were written in red. The gospels tell us that Jesus first sermon was about the Kingdom of God. In the Sermon on the Mount, he continued that theme. In our anxious age, as an alternative to worry, we seek God’s Kingdom and righteousness first, trusting that he will provide everything we need. Message based on Isaiah 30:21, Matthew 6:25-34.
