Description

God is a good Father who delights in giving His children good gifts. Jesus calls us to approach Him with persistent prayer as we ask, seek, and knock, not with empty routines but with genuine trust. As we experience His abundant love, we are transformed to reflect His heart through active goodness and the Golden Rule: doing for others what we would want done for us. A life marked by prayer and love points the world to the kindness of God. Message based on Matthew 7:7–12

Quotes:
Alexander MacLaren: Jesus' pitying eyes were not blind to the truth.

Thomas Kelly: How, then, shall we lay hold of the Life and Power, and live the life of prayer without ceasing? By quiet, persistent practice in turning all of our being, day and night, in prayer and inward worship and surrender, toward him who calls in the deeps of our souls.

Jim Armstrong: God does not just tolerate sinners, he loves them... we are to love sinners; not be unkind...

Duane Brooks: You start it. You start something. You do the good, you pass it on to the other person.
