Description

Jesus warns us not to chase treasures that fade, but to invest in what lasts forever. He calls us to make Him our greatest treasure, trusting that when our hearts are set on His kingdom, He will provide all we need. True joy is not found in what we keep but in what we give, living generously as a reflection of our faith. Message based on Matthew 6:19-34

Quotes:

Jim Elliott: He is no fool who gives up what he cannot keep to gain what he cannot lose.

Charles Haddon Spurgeon: You must keep all earthy treasures out of your heart and let Christ be your treasure, and let Him have your heart.

Monk: I hope your stay is a blessed one. If you need anything let us know, and we'll teach you how to live without it.

Sue Powell: Money isn't everything.

Duane Brooks: The "things" are never the point. They must not be the treasure that we give our hearts to.
