Description

When all hope seemed lost for Israel and for Hannah, she prayed and God heard. God gave her a son and gave Israel a leader. The Lord of Hosts, Yahweh Sabaoth, was working all things together for good for the ones who loved him. Samuel became a mighty man of God who led Israel well. Message based on 1 Samuel 1:9-20.

Quote:
Craig Brian Larson: God often fulfills his greatest purposes through our deep unfulfilled desires, when we surrender them to him in prayer.

Duane Brooks: The way forward for the church is on our knees.

Ken Medema: If this is not a place where my spirit can take wing, where can I go to fly?
If this is not a place where tears are understood, where can I go to cry?
If this is not a place where my questions can be asked, where shall I go to seek?

Duane Brooks: The revival our nation needs may very well begin in your private prayer time this week or in our corporate prayer meeting on a Wednesday night.

Brandon Lake: Miracle Child - I shouldn’t be alive My future was six feet under One foot in the grave, I’m a miracle child.

Kim Kwong Chan: When I travel to the interior of China, the Christian communities all claim they've seen and experienced miracles.

David Lyle Jeffrey: Far from the madding crowd of London, perhaps in a little cottage somewhere in the hills of southern Wales, it is the break of a new day and spring sunlight spills through the window and across the shoulders of someone rebuilding a fire from the cold night’s embers.  She is kneeling on the stones of her hearth, kneeling as she prays each morning, to ask that God by his Spirit will bring revival to her country and its people. And as she rises to commence with love and joy to serve her God in the ordinary round of a quiet life, she is singing an old hymn. Perhaps it will be this very morning that a lifelong faithfulness of intercession will begin to be gathered in the hand of the Master Weaver toward the base of his own great loom, a thread of purest gold burning and shining, reflecting and revealing his matchless light.

C.T. Studd: If Jesus Christ died for me, then no sacrifice is too great for me to make to Him.
