Description

David discovered that Goliath was taunting the army of Israel. He chose to enter the battle for God's sake with God's power. Behind the conflicts in our lives lies a cosmic conflict. Although we can never force God to take our side, we may decide to be on his side! Message based on 1 Samuel 17:33-37, 45-47.

Quotes:
Dale Ralph Davis: Faith is sustained in the present and for the present as it remembers God’s provision in the past.

Jemima Kelly: We suffer from a crisis of courage.

A.W. Tozer: God is looking for persons in whose hands his glory is safe.

Dale Davis:  In God’s economy, no experience is wasted.

Pastor Colbert: God, you can do anything but fail.

Duane Brooks: David will be delivered not because of his true grit but because he knows the true God.

Rosa Parks: Knowing what must be done does away with fear.  It was time for someone to stand up, or in my case to sit down.

Duane Brooks: Jesus is God’s anointed, the Speaker of God’s word, Victor over sin and death. . . Jesus Christ is Lord.  Is He your Lord?

A. C. Dixon:  Just then I felt that all the dogs in the West could not and would not capture that fawn after its weakness had appealed to my strength.  So is it when human helplessness appeals to Almighty God. I remember well when the hounds of sin were after my soul that at last I ran into the arms of Almighty God.
