This week on YCYM, our resident football legend and advisor Matthew Tarullo and his business partner Mark Esslie had the chance to sit with a Major League Baseball player. Brian O'Keefe, a local South Colonie graduate, and an Albany native sat with the guys to discuss his career, starting from tee ball all the way to the majors!
O'Keefe doesn't hold back, discussing the difficulties of the day-to-day life of a minor league player working his way up, the financial struggles and discipline it requires, and how being able to have support is key. Tarullo, also a former professional athlete is able to relate, and there are some very valuable exchanges between the two in this episode.
