Every Summer Redeemer goes through the Psalms. We started at the beginning and will go through all 150 Psalms. Many of these Psalms are imprecatory or have imprecatory passages. What is the meaning of an imprecatory Psalm, and how should we as new covenant Christians relate to them? Should we sing and pray the imprecatory Psalms? Or were they simply relegated to the old covenant and ancient hebrew culture?
