Regardless of the ups and downs life has thrown on me, there has always been one constant; one thing I can rely on..
For me, it's lifting weights. It has allowed me to better myself and other aspects of my life. In the beginning, working out was based on attaining a certain aesthetic goal. As the years pass, it's become more about the psychological boost than anything else. Every time I train, I feel as if I hit a reset button and I feel strong and confident. Strength training allows you to discover and appreciate all that your body is capable of doing. It is so dang empowering!
Lifting weights has taught me a different way to love my body and be confident through perseverance. In this episode, I share with you the physical and mental benefits you receive from lifting weights and why YOU should establish a strength training routine.
