Meet Zac Stern, a young visionary with a keen mind inbusiness and love.Earning a coveted spot at the NYU Stern School of Businesswas just the beginning of Zac's early success, as he went onto be elected class president for three out of four years. Notone to lag, Zac was an intern his sophomore and junior yearswith a well-known VC and was promoted to associate upongraduation in 2020 when he joined the team full-time.His work ethic didn’t keep him from falling in love. With along-distance relationship spanning half the globe, he’d jotdown important anniversaries, birthdays, and meaningfulinformation about his significant other. Always spot on withthe love stuff, friends noticed his relationship was flourishingand wanted to know his secret.With an ear toward opportunity and a desire to fill an unmetneed, Zac went right to work building an app so friends couldshare the same relational success. Official was born, a next-generation social media app, built to help couples havehealthier and happier relationships. After being honest withhis employer about moonlighting with his own project, Zacwas congratulated by being flat-out fired. This proved to bea gift, as Official became his sole focus as of October 2020.After being interviewed by the Mayor of Miami and going viralon TikTok, the fledgling Official app crashed because toomany people mobbed the platform all at once. Thattransformed into great user feedback and an entire rebuild ofthe Official platform relaunching with a successful firstfinancing round of nearly $500k by sophisticated investorsrecognizing the potential of Official and its forward-thinking,altruistic relationship model.
