FIFO worker, a curve model, and an advocate for change, Savannah Phyffer and I go into depth talking about the changes that Savannah has seen while on-site when it comes to harassment, her two different experiences, the stark differences between those experiences, how they were dealt with, how they could have been dealt with and the importance of good crew when it comes to culture.
After being on 23 different sites as a casual working for a plethora of different mining companies, large and small in construction, gold, and ore, she has a great depth of knowledge when it comes to understanding culture on different sites.
I ask her advice to companies, the crew on site, and the new crew and how they can help make a change within the industry.
Thank you endlessly for sharing your experiences, your vulnerability, and your openness in hopes to spread awareness of how prevalent this issue is.
If anything has triggered you in today's episode or you are experiencing harassment.
