Vet Life Reimagined: What do you do when you realize that you are NOT where you want to be in your career, and you are elbow deep? Dr. Samantha Vitale was in the middle of a neurology residency and had to deal with the realization that she needed to change the career identity that she had created in her mind. This is not easy.

Dr. Vitale walks through her veterinary journey to now where she is thriving in the veterinary profession. She is connecting the profession with a teleconsulting platform called Stratocyte, which she co-founded.

About the guest:
Samantha is from Memphis, TN. She obtained her bachelors and DVM degrees from Mississippi State University. She then went on to complete a small animal rotating internship at the University of Georgia and a speciality internship and Neurology/Neurosurgery residency at the University of Illinois. She worked in private practice as a locum neurologist for 2 years before leaving clinical practice to devote her full time to teleconsulting and running Stratocyte. She currently lives in central Illinois with her husband, dog, and 20 chickens.
