Mark 11:25-26
From the practical standpoint, forgiveness can flow through these specific helps:
A) Ask yourself, “Why does this hurt me? What is there inside of me that is wounded by this?”
B) Become objective to what is inside of the other person that may cause them to do that to you. (their own personality, tendencies, weaknesses, etc.)
C) Consider the other person’s situation, what they may be going through, what they may be feeling, etc. (problems and difficulties beyond their own person., tend., weaknesses)
D) Decide that the real issue may not be about you at all.
E) Evaluate what you might have done differently to avoid the offense.
Who and when do I forgive?
A) Any person for any wrong at any time.
B) Before they even ask for it.
C) Constantly forgive—“when you pray.”
D) Develop a forgiving spirit. It may not come natural to you, but it will improve with usage!
E) Engage people in the process of forgiveness as soon as the Spirit prompts you.
