Amelia Dyer found herself in a precarious financial position, as did many Victorian women. As a nurse, she was given the inside scoop on something called baby farming. She took in the infants of unwed mothers to supposedly provide them care as their mothers couldn't. Instead, she killed every baby that came into her care. Amelia Dyer just may be the world's most prolific serial killer in all of history.
