13 year old Eric Smith struggled. He was born with developmental disabilities, he was bullied horribly at school and he was abandoned and rejected by his biological father. This left him filled with rage and pain...which he would take out on neighborhood animals. Then, after one rejection too many, he took out his anger on four year old Derrick Robie.
