Another amazing storyteller guest this week on Where’s That Bar Cart, it’s journalist, author, and self-described Canadian golf nut, Tim Wharnsby! Tim met Canadian golf legend Moe Norman at age 15, and he shares countless stories of playing with Moe, being mentored by him, and what it was like the first time to caddy for Moe. Tim has an encyclopedic knowledge of Canadian golf history, which just left the three of us frankly dumbfounded. Tim is the author of the recently published book “GOLD: How Gretzky's Men Ended Canada's 50-year Olympic Drought”, and has covered the hockey landscape and other sports in Canada for more than 25 years for CBC Sports, the Globe and Mail and Toronto Sun.
Please enjoy, keep playing well out there, and tell one person you play with there’s this incredibly funny, self-effacing golf podcast they HAVE to check out…(it’s this one). Please rate, review, and share.
