In this series on healing, hopefully you have been encouraged and strengthened in your belief, your faith, that healing is from God both that it is His power and His will to heal. All throughout the New Testament, Jesus and the disciples had miraculous healings – even more than are written in the Scriptures (according to the Apostle John).
Sickness comes from the curse which ultimately can be traced back to Satan’s work in the Garden of Eden to get Adam and Eve to disobey God.
That is sickness defined: Satan exercising what power he has in this world in a cruel and unjust way. We don’t have to be under the power of the devil. The greater One lives IN us who already defeated the power of Satan for all eternity for all who believe.
The Challenge of Healing, today’s message, isn’t lack of power. It isn’t lack of authority. The challenge is the same today as it was in the time of the disciples: Maintaining faith. Let’s look at Matthew 17.
