What does it mean to be protected? We pray for this regularly when we travel, when we see reports of incidents at workplaces or schools. Protection from harm. Protection from injury and of course protection from death. In summary, protection from the curse.
The blessing of the Lord includes protection from the curse. We have been redeemed from the curse of the law because Jesus took on himself all of the curse.
Jesus was made a curse so that you and I can be made righteous and put under the blessing. Unlike the law, it was not because of what we did or didn’t do, it was because of what HE did. So if it has been done already, why do we still see injury and sickness?
How does this protection work? Is it automatic? Is it for all people? Is it for all believers?
