What is God’s credit score in your life?
Jeremiah 17:7-8 ESV
“Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, whose trust is the Lord. He is like a tree planted by water, that sends out its roots by the stream, and does not fear when heat comes, for its leaves remain green, and is not anxious in the year of drought, for it does not cease to bear fruit.”
When you go to the bank to ask for credit, what is the first thing they ask? They want your name and proof of ID: your identity. They want to review your financial history and your resources to determine how much they will trust you.
The first thing we know about God is His name: there is no other name under heaven higher than His name. God’s “track record” is perfect, He never changes and is always the same.
Joshua 24:45
