Description

Parents trying to build a business while your kiddos are at home, this one's for you! If you didn't know, I run a VA agency and have three amazing daughters. Whenever there is a break, like summer, the ultimate balancing act begins. Often times I feel pulled between building my business and being fully present with my kids.

Recently I had to establish a way that I could maintain consistency in building my business without sacrificing these rare and fleeting opportunities to be present with my girls.

Here are 5 tips to help you stay consistent in your biz:

  1. Automate  everything that can be automated. HoneyBook has been a huge factor in helping me automate processes in my biz.
  2. Get organized, like really organized. I recommend using a task management software, like Trello, to list all of the things you need to get accomplished each day of the week.
  3. Set goals, but set them the right way. Set goals that are SMART: Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Time-bound.
  4. Know when to shut down. Keep your boundaries in-mind, and try to hold firm to them.
  5. Know when to get help. You only have so many hours in a day, maybe it's time to bring in outside help so you can focus on what matters the most.

Socially Inspired would LOVE to help you maintain balance and consistency in your biz.
