Let's dive into 4 major obstacles we often run into while maintaining a growth mindset. These are not business-specific or career-oriented obstacles, friend. They can challenge anyone at any stage of business.

The first obstacle is feeling stuck. This happens to us all, the first thing you have to do is recognize it. Then, ask yourself: What is keeping me stuck? Often times it's fear. But you can challenge that fear. Is it reasonable? What structures and systems could you build to overcome that obstacle? At the end of the day, it's your decision to stay stuck, or move beyond this obstacle.

The next obstacle is feeling overwhelmed. I am no stranger to this one! Never forget that our feelings are indicators, and we have to listen to them. One of the ways I handle overwhelm is to push pause, and to take stock of what is actually happening.

The next obstacle is feeling drained. Yes, this happens to all business owners and employees alike. There are always going to be days where we feel uninspired, like we're running on a hamster wheel. The best part about this, is you can get off the wheel! YOU are in charge of your business, and when you suffer, the quality of your work suffers.

The last obstacle is feeling defeated. A practice I use to combat defeat is remembering. Document your victories, so you can go back and re-live them during these times. I use journaling to remember, it allows me to see the evidence of growth.

No matter what obstacle you may currently be battling, you are no alone. Just take it one day at a time, and do the next right thing.
