What happens to us when we see Jesus as He is? What teaches us to respond to His presence? Our culture? Our religious upbringing? Our skills? When Peter sees the glory of God and the law and the prophets he immediately attempts to put a plan into action, he tries to respond. The proper response in hindsight was to sit in silence and listen, not to pontificate, but that is what we tend to do. When we catch a sight of the glory of God we want to do something about it, but often we need direction, instruction, and formation. We are to simply wait and listen.
