John was cofounder of one of the most successful Madison Ave ad agencies in the country. He’s won many awards and was selected one of the top ad people in New York. A highlight of his career was getting honored at The White House for a successful public service campaign he spearheaded. As a result of his success, he’s been asked to speak at venues including The World Business Academy and The Yale Entrepreneurial institute.
But, he also flunked his first college advertising course and was told he’d never succeed in advertising. And, once he began working, he got fired. And then fired again. And then fired again. And then fired, again! FOUR times in his first eight years of working. One day he made 106 phone calls just trying to get some job interviews. But, that low point became his turning point for his hugely successful entrepreneurial career.
Now, he helps other entrepreneurs around the US with their marketing via his “Follis Marketing Therapy” online consulting.
