In our modern world, it's hard to know what to eat. Everything is packaged and "processed" to some degree, so what exactly does it mean when people like me say Eat a Whole Food, Unprocessed Diet?
In this Episode, I break it down, (try to) make it simple, and explain how to make sure you are following the whole food diet principles simply and practically.
I also share what I typically eat in a day...most of the time :)
Main Tips:
- Look for a limited ingredient list. If it's a long list of hard-to-pronounce ingredients, stay away.
- Use lots of fresh and frozen fruits and vegetables – Frozen vegetables are very affordable, easy to keep, and typically are just that one food
- Cook as much as you can.
- Use your best judgment! Hint: Kale crackers are not, but whole Kale in a bag is!
