On August 14, Jeff McLain looked at the story in Numbers 13 as we found that perhaps the desert moment is not a place of pain and problem, but a time in which God's presence and promise is closer than we realize. However, perhaps the promised land and opportunities only come when we posture ourselves correctly while we are in the desert. In Numbers 13, we see what it means to posture ourselves correctly in our desert moments as individuals and as a church community.
