How many advertisements or article titles have you seen promising something; a cleaner house, a happier life, or better relationships, all in 5 easy steps or 3 easy steps, etc.? We are drawn to the concrete and simple in hopes that lasting change can be made fast and easily. But there is a positive to that advertisment ploy. Research has shown that humans can most easily remember a sequence of 7 items. That is why you see chunking...like in memorizing your social security number or a telephone number. Today I'm sharing a list of 12, which can be chunked in any set of itemsĀ  that you choose. The most important thing is to remember these concepts in our hearts. They are already there. You wouldn't be drawn to a podcast about living life meaningfully and kindly if you didn't already believe in these things. But it is always good to be reminded of them...like in "12 Lessons to Live By."
