I've been a storyteller for around 40 years. Throughout those years I have learned and told hundreds of stories and retold a lot of those stories hundreds of times. My life has been so enriched because of what I have learned through stories. It's no accident that stories have been passed down since the beginning of time. They are life sustaining.
As holders of those stories, we bear responsibility to pass them on. We don't always know why, but they hold power to teach, to knit together lives, to heal, and to bring meaning to life. What are your favorite stories? Why are they important to you?
