Isn't it interesting that with all the scary things you hear and read in the news, we all have an innate sense to know that those we love will remain safe. Love is truly one of the most powerful feelings and knowings in this life. We cannot see it...we see only the effects of it, the drive to sustain it, the need to know it, the desire to share it.
It is love that continues to give me hope. Love gives me hope because most people respond to love. Every culture is heartbroken when bad things happen to those whom they love.
We may not be able to affect great big things in the happenings around the world or in our politics, but we can share love to our fellow human beings and make a difference by how someone feels after being around us. That is pretty powerful when you sit and think about it.
So in these times of helplessness over all we read and hear in the news, do not think you cannot make a difference. You have more power than you know.
