Don't you wish there was magic dust that could be sprinkled on our world to fix the attitudes and behaviors we see today? If only we could all just be kind. It is a simple fix, but so hard to do. Perhaps it is because over the years we have become desensitized to treating people kindly, through exposure from all the sitcoms and movies we watched that showed snarky attitudes and comments to others, which seemed to make it ok to talk to people that same way in real life. Then when FaceBook and other forms of social media came into being, the world of politeness took a backseat.
The effects are felt widely and deeply. We must be the source of change or it will not happen. Margaret Mead wisely once said, "Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed it's the only thing that ever has." Will you "kindly" join me in changing the world?
Thanks for listening!
