Kara Kushnir is a psychotherapist and founder of A Work of Heart Counseling & Wellness - a practice based in Northern NJ - as well as an Author and advocate for perinatal mental health, new families and children. When she is not in session with clients or advocating for policy change, you can find Kara training other therapists or with her husband and son relaxing, spending time outdoors and seeking to wind down. Kara brings a wealth of knowledge - both from professional and personal experience - to her work, and hopes to start conversations about maternal mental health to end the silence so many new moms suffer in.
