In 2008, we had the Great Recession and it was a devastating event. So many people lost their job & equity in their home. It was a financial crisis of a humongous magnitude is the second worst financial crisis in the history of the country. The scar tissue is there from 07/08 and it's something that everybody's thinking about today because prices have been going up, and prices ran up during the bubble leading up to the 2008 crash. People now want to equate what's happening today with what happened in 2008, but it's completely different circumstances and a completely different market.
