The legendary Rebecca Heineman AKA Burger Becky tell us about her journey from winning the first (not really) Annual Space Invaders tournament to working in the video game industry and accepting her unique place in the history of gaming. She never planned to show everyone what it means to be a truly successful Esports champion and yet many former competitors have followed in her footstep without even realizing it. As we hope is the case with our athletes on the CSUDH Esports team, victory wasn't the height of her time in gaming but instead the beginning of a long and accomplished career.
