Welcome to Lunch with Shelley!  Join us for a great chat with this week’s awesome guest and my good friend Matt Rosenheim who is the President of the very fabulous Tiny Jewel Box, a real Washington Institution! I like to think of the Tiny Jewel Box – or TJB – as Washington’s Tiffany’s or Cartier, but better in many ways because it’s truly unique to this city.  And if you’ve ever been lucky enough to shop there or get a present from there, you know that a Tiny Jewel Box box is just as or more impeccably wrapped as one from Tiffany’s or Cartier and certainly what’s inside will be way more unique!

During today’s lunch, we discuss all things Tiny Jewel Box beginning with what the store was like when his grandparents first opened it, how each generation has marked their tenure while presiding over this remarkable jewel, and a lot about watches which was both fun and educational! We discuss what luxury is like these days, the joy of legacy, and how Matt and his wife first met and fell in love. We’re dining at the Palm – so join us for a very interesting conversation with a great Washingtonian who also happens to have fabulous music taste! Download this episode wherever you get your favorite podcasts and in the meantime Peace – Love – and Lunch!
