Episode t8 of the Steelers Sanctuary Podcast is out. In this episode we discuss Mike Tomlin taking serious heat from the local media after the embarrassing loss to the Cardinals. More players have come out and admitted they took that team lightly. DMC and I wonder if a loss to the Patriots could send this team into such a spiral that the Steelers might consider a change at coach after the season.
Speaking of the Patriots we preview Thursday’s crucial game. The injury report for the Steelers is not encouraging. The Steelers will be without Kenny Pickett, and possibly Elandon Roberts and Isaac Seumalo. Even Najee Harris now missed Tuesday’s practice making him questionable for the game.
We fear this team could be in for their second straight major upset. New England’s defense is third best versus the run. This team will struggle mightily to score points. Meanwhile the strength of the Patriots offense is their tight ends. They will be sure to attack Pittsburgh’s beat up inside linebackers.
