In this episode, I am discussing the impact that positive queer representation can have through the lens of my emotional reaction to the Netflix show Heartstopper, which is adapted from the graphic novels of Alice Oseman.
Queer representation in the mainstream media has grown so much since I was the age of the charters in this tale. But what came up for me watching this was very unexpected.
I am going to share with you how I worked through the emotions and also all of the reasons why I think this show can be an example for all of us on the importance of sharing our queer creations with the world.
